I cannot say enough about Regency Way Montevideo. We needed to have an extended stay (6 weeks) when our daughter became seriously ill while traveling. She was at a hospital in Montevideo, and one of her physicians made arrangements for us to stay at this hotel. We so appreciated that the accommodations were immaculate; the kitchenette sufficiently stocked with plates, cutlery, etc. (for our late supper after a full day at the hospital); the convenience of a laundry on site (as we brought minimal clothing due to the emergency); the restaurant which offered tasty and substantial fare; and the sitting areas throughout the hotel from the pool/bbq area to the outdoor eating area offering comforts that were so well appreciated under our circumstances.. The hotel was very secure, so that even when returning late evenings, we felt safe. Front desk staff were wonderful - helpful and friendly always,
